BIB & KIT DISTRIBUTION EXPO

In order to collect your BIB and Race Kit, please make sure to visit the BIB & KIT Distribution EXPO on the following dates and location:

Date: 21st & 22nd July 2023
Venue: Decathlon Wakad, Sr. No. 56,4 Tathwade Road, Pimpri Chinchwad - 411033
Expo Timing: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Please note that there will be no BIB & KIT distribution on the event day, so it is important to collect your BIB and Race Kit during the designated expo dates and timings mentioned above.

FLAG OFF & REPORTING TIME

This is an update regarding the Flag OFF time for different race categories and their respective reporting times. It is essential to note that entry into the event will only be permitted with a valid BIB. Therefore, please ensure that you carry your BIB with you on the marathon day.

Ultra Marathon (50 km):
Flag OFF Time: 4:00 AM
Reporting Time: 3:30 AM

Full Marathon (42.2 km):
Flag OFF Time: 5:00 AM
Reporting Time: 4:30 AM

35 km:
Flag OFF Time: 5:30 AM
Reporting Time: 5:00 AM

Half Marathon (21.1 km):

10 Miles Run:

Please ensure that you arrive at the event venue well in advance, allowing sufficient time for parking, warm-up, and any necessary preparations. We recommend reaching the event location at least 30 minutes prior to the respective reporting times mentioned above.

Overview

"Apla Pune Marathon Season 3" is being organized to increase awareness amongst people, the numerous advantages of engaging in running as a physical activity. Some of these include:

Improved physical fitness: Running is an excellent cardiovascular exercise that helps improve endurance, increase stamina, and improve overall physical fitness.

Weight management: Running is an effective way to burn calories and lose weight. It helps increase the body's metabolic rate, which can lead to weight loss over time.

Mental health benefits: Running can also have positive effects on mental health. It has been shown to reduce stress, alleviate symptoms of depression and anxiety, and improve overall mood.

Stronger bones: Running can help strengthen bones and reduce the risk of osteoporosis.

Improved immune system: Regular running can help boost the immune system and reduce the risk of illnesses.

Increased social interaction: Running is often a social activity, which can lead to increased social interaction and improved social relationships

Improved sleep: Running can help improve the quality of sleep, leading to increased energy levels andimproved overall health

Low cost: Running is a relatively low-cost physical activity that can be done almost anywhere and at any time, making it accessible to many people.

Participation Age Criterion

5 km - 5 years and above
10 km- 15 years and above
10 Miles (16 km) - 18 years and above
21 km - 18 years and above
35 km - 20 years and above
42 km - 20 years and above
50 km - 20 years and above

Terms & Conditions

1. This event is a marathon and is not a short-distance race. The competitive distance category is from 10 km to 50 km. The road closure will be for a few kilometres and a few crucial points only. Every participant is expected to take care of their safety at their own risk.
2. The event organizer will provide hydration, medical, and crew support. However, if participants have any prior medical conditions, it is their responsibility to seek advice from their family doctor before participating.
3. Finisher medal and packed breakfast will be distributed at the takeaway counter. Participants are requested to follow social distancing guidelines while collecting the medal and breakfast.
4. Medals and breakfast will be distributed only during the event time.
5. BIB and EVENT KIT will be distributed at BIB DISTRIBUTION centres, which will be announced a few days before the event date. 6. Please note that BIB and EVENT KIT will not be distributed on the event day.
7. Participants will not be allowed in the holding area without a BIB.
8. If the event date is changed, participants can claim a full refund (if they have paid for registration) by contacting info@champendurance.com OR Existing registrations will be carried forward to the new date.
9. If the event is cancelled due to unavoidable circumstances, participants will receive a full refund (if they have paid for registration).
10. In case of any changes in event time, venue, or route, the event organizer will notify participants through email or the event website at www.champendurance.com.

12. As the run will start early morning in the dark 50kms, 42kms & 35kms participants must carry Head Torch while running for their safety

13. After registering for this event, you are granting permission to the organizer to use the photos clicked at the event for the promotion of future Champ Endurance events

Prize Pool ₹1400000/-

For the 10 km distance, the prize money for the first, second, and third places is 4000, 2000, and 1000 for both males and females in the Junior(15 yrs to 24 yrs), Senior(25 yrs to 34 yrs), Masters(35 yrs to 44 yrs), and Veterans (45 yrs & above) categories. However, there is no prize money for the Open Category for this distance.

For the 10 Miles distance, the prize money for the first, second, and third places is 4000, 2000, and 1000 for males and females in the Open categories (18 yrs & above). However, there is no prize money for Junior, Senior, Masters and Veterans categories for this distance.

For the 21 km distance, the prize money for the first, second, and third places is 6000, 3000, and 2000 for both males and females in the Junior(18 yrs to 24 yrs), Senior(25 yrs to 34 yrs), Masters(35 yrs to 44 yrs), and Veterans (45 yrs & above) categories. However, there is no prize money for the Open Category for this distance.

For the 35 km distance, the prize money for the first, second, and third places is 6000, 3000, and 2000 for males and females in the Open categories (20 yrs & above). However, there is no prize money for Junior, Senior, Masters and Veterans categories for this distance.

For the 42 km distance, the prize money for the first, second, and third places is 12000, 6000, and 3000 for males and females in the Junior (20 yrs to 24 yrs), Senior(25 yrs to 34 yrs), Masters(35 yrs to 44 yrs), and Veterans (45 yrs & above) categories. However, there is no prize money for Open categories for this distance.

For the 50 km distance, the prize money for the first, second, and third places is 12000, 6000, and 3000 for males and females in the Open categories (20 yrs & above). However, there is no prize money for Junior, Senior, Masters and Veterans categories for this distance.
